Junior Choir
On Friday the Junior Choir performed for the whole school at assembly. They sang beautifully and we were very proud of them.

Year 2 Swimming Sports

On Thursday it was Swimming Sports. First it was the Dolphins turn. I was a Dolphin. I came first in freestyle and backstroke as well. We did Jump Jam and had a swim around. Then we left the pool. The best thing was Jump Jam.

At Swimming Sports we did lots of swimming. I got a certificate. The best thing was the part when we did Jump Jam in the pool. I also got a certificate for backstroke. I was in the Sharks.

Yesterday we had swimming sports. We had freestyle and backstroke. I came 1st in the backstroke and 3rd in freestyle. We did Jump Jam at the end. I was in the Sharks group. My favourite thing was Jump Jam. In our practise for swimming sports I tied with Joel. By Hugo
At Swimming Sports in freestyle I was 3rd to last. In backstroke me and Emelia came first. My certificate disappeared so I got a new one. By Kathryn
Yesterday the Year 2s did the Swimming Sports. There were 3 groups - Snapper, Dolphins and Sharks. I was in the Dolphins. First the dolphins got up. They did freestyle. Next the Sharks got up and they did freestyle too. Some people got two certificates. The Snappers got up and they did kicking with a flutter board. At the end we had Jump Jam. By Caitlin

Yesterday the Year 2s had their Swimming Sports. There were 3 groups. There were the Dolphins, Sharks and Snappers.
First the dolphins did a length of freestyle and then the Sharks did their length of freestyle. Then the Snappers did their lap of freestyle. Then it was back to the Dolphins again and they did backstroke and then the Sharks did backstroke and then the Snappers did jumping with the noodles.
I won two certificates. First I got an orange certificate for freestyle and then a green certificate for backstroke. My favourite part was doing Jump Jam! I was in the Dolphins and the Dolphins got the stay in and have a little swim and then Sharks and the Snappers had to get out! By Emily
At Swimming Sports in the freestyle stroke Ida won a certificate. Ida also won a certificate in backstroke. Ida was in the sharks. At the end of Swimming Sports all the kids hopped in the poo. to do Jump Jam. By Anya
Yesterday was Swimming Sports. I came second in both of my races. It was not at all fun. Someone kicked me in the head accidently when I was swimming in my last race and they came first. By Nathan
